"Kids night out, Parents night out" eventsKids Night Out – Parents Night Out! 👻 Give yourself a Saturday night out while the kids enjoy a spooktacular Halloween evening filled with singing, dancing, creativity and fun!
Designed for children ages 6–13, our Kids Night Out combines music, movement and Halloween activities in a fun and supervised environment. While the kids are busy having a brilliant night, parents can enjoy a few hours to themselves! 🎶 What will the kids be doing? 🎤 1 hour 15 minutes of Choir We’ll learn and sing two Halloween favourites — Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and the “Ghostbusters” Theme. Kids will work on their singing while getting into character and having lots of Halloween fun. They are encouraged to dress up if they wish. 💃 1 Hour of Dance & Choreography It wouldn’t be Thriller without the moves! Kids will learn fun choreography to accompany the songs and bring our Halloween performance to life. 🧟 30 Minutes of Zombie Mask Making Time to get creative! Each child will make their own fun zombie mask to use as part of our songs and performance. 👻 Parents — enjoy your night too! Drop the kids off at 6:00 PM and enjoy a few hours to yourselves knowing they’re busy singing, dancing, creating and having fun. Suggestions of local restaurants/pubs near the venue will be sent out and discount codes/vouchers. Parents are invited to return at 9:00 PM for a short presentation so the kids can show you some of what they’ve been working on! 📅 Event Details Saturday, October 17th 6:00 PM – 9:10 PM 📍 Citadel Community Association 870 Citadel Dr NW, Calgary $50 per child $40 for each additional sibling Please bring water bottles, indoor shoes, snack for 15 minute snack break - no snacks containing nuts please.
